I am on a special diet for my kidney disease and pancreatic cancer. I must have very low salt, very low fat, and high protein. Miller Bison jerky is the only brand I could find that meets my dietary needs and the taste is awesome. Thanks!
My first experience having Bison jerky and meat sticks, in spite of ground Buffalo is my favorite red meat. Your products are everything you say they are, and more! I'll be back!! THANK YOU!

Received this jerky as a generous gift while traveling through Nevada and was amazed by the quality and flavor! Brought some home to my family and they couldn't get enough. Will totally be ordering more! Excellent flavor and texture.
I can’t take pictures because I ate it all. I have trouble eating jerky so I wasn’t sure. But this was very tender and very tasty. I will be buying more very soon.
Teriyaki is the crowd-pleaser — that sweet-savory glaze people already love, wrapped around meat that's actually worth glazing. Most teriyaki jerky uses the sauce to cover up cheap meat. Ours starts with grass-finished bison from our own Nevada herd, so the teriyaki is a costume, not a disguise.
It's the flavor we recommend for bison first-timers and the one that disappears fastest at farmers markets. Fair warning: whoever you share the bag with will ask where it came from.
Teriyaki Bison Jerky FAQs
The questions we hear most at the ranch about this one - straight answers, no fine print. If yours isn't here, ask us directly and a real person will get back to you.
How sweet is the teriyaki?
Balanced — sweet-forward on the first bite, savory underneath, not candy-sticky. The bison's own flavor still comes through, which is the whole point of using good meat.
Which should I try first — Teriyaki or Old Fashioned?
Teriyaki if you're new to bison or buying for a household with mixed snack opinions; it's the universal crowd-pleaser. Old Fashioned if you want the meat itself front and center.
Does teriyaki jerky need refrigeration?
Not until opened. After that, reseal and refrigerate if it'll be around more than a few days — the glaze makes this flavor slightly more perishable than our plainer bags.
Is the bison in this the same quality as your steaks?
Same herd, same pastures, same grass-fed and grass-finished standard. We don't run a separate "jerky grade" — the animal that becomes your ribeye is the animal that becomes your jerky.

Bison butchers out a lot like beef, but the cuts behave differently on a leaner animal — and a few of them don't exist on a steer at all. A rancher's tour of the whole animal, nose to tail.
Beef jerky built the category. Here's what changes when the animal underneath is leaner, wilder, and raised on grass — from a ranch that makes both arguments for a living.
Everyone lumps bison, elk, and venison together as "game meat." A rancher breaks down how the big three actually compare — nutrition numbers, flavor, sourcing, and which one belongs in your freezer.
